Debating Club meets Mondays after 6th Period in front of the staff room

With most of the Debating Club’s members working towards their graduation in spring, we are looking for a new generation of debaters to join our club. If you enjoy speaking English outside the usual classroom setting, and if you like to discuss controversial issues such as the following, come for a try-out session on Monday.

Topics we have recently debated include:
Should we all buy artificial Christmas trees?
Should Taliban fighters be offered money to abjure terrorism?
Should we all become vegetarians?
Should University tuition fees be abolished?
