Heute Mittag trafen 37 italienische Schülerinnen und Schüler mit ihren beiden Lehrerinnen Sofia Dellaccia und Raffaella Bergonzi etwa müde in Aurich ein und wurden von der gastgebenden Klasse 10a im Güterschuppen mit Musik und Imbiss herzlich willkommen geheißen.

Class 10a playing together again after two years of musical abstinence

Although a bit tired from getting up too early, the audience was delighted by the musical welcome of their hosts

Class 10a was in Savona/Italy from February 28th to March 6th and enjoyed the exchange there enormously.This is already the second round of the partnership Aurich – Savona, which more or less is part of the Latin and English lessons.

Now the Savona group hopefully will enjoy Aurich despite of the cool temperatures. On Thursday and Friday morning all pupils together will work on a multimedia-online project and on short films for a video-competition, results will be published around Friday noon and everybody is invited to vote for the best video in this competition.

Sofia Dellaccia and Raffaella Bergonzi have brought some presents for the Ulricianum

The online-project about the Aurich-Savona meeting with podcasts and videocasts on various topics will contain several episodes, starting tomorrow.

Of course, the group will be welcomed by the mayor of Aurich, a lot of time will be spent with the partners and their families and a trip as well to Bremen as the North Sea coast will take place, too.
